Biomed hairtherapy harmonising massage

The biomed massage is a method that makes it possible for the scalp to best receive the active principle contained in the preparations. In particular this massage stimulates peripheral microcirculation of the blood, improving skin elasticity and relaxing tissues thereby facilitating the interaction of the skin with the active principles.

Four steps for correct application

1. Preparation phase
To relax and distend the neck muscles. In this phase the position of the head is supported by the left hand, while the right hand carries out the massage. Hands can subsequently be switched.

2. Rotatory movement for genelra wellbeing
In this phase the fingers must be positioned vertically on the head. Massage using rotatory movements from on the head. Massage using rotatory movements from the nape to the forehead and return to the nape. The pressure can be slightly increased. This movement should be repeated a total of three times, after which move on to the third phase.

3. Massaging the pressure points
Carry out a massage applying the pressure first behind the ears, then above the ears, above the temples, moving towards the forehead. Use all the fingers when massaging and gradually increase the pressure. At the end, increase the pressure still further and then gently decrease it. This massage should be repeated three times.

4. Rubbing
In this phase the whole head should be massaged, from the forehead to the nape, applying uniform rotatory movements. On the nape apply a slight pressure massage to the sides and end the massage with a more energetic application to the shoulders, liberating the tension. Carry out this operation three times.
